Security and Privacy Policy
We take your privacy very seriously and do not sell or make your information available to anyone. We do not refer your file to anyone or any organization. It is for the sole use of Dear Piggy Bank (DPB) as directed by you and the Products/Services you purchase. DPB does the following to protect your personal and financial information:
- Dear Piggy Bank (DPB) has a SSL Certificate (Secure Socket Layer). A SSL protects you, the client, and DPB the service provider.*
- We do not request personal identification numbers or specific banking information to complete our work on your file.
- Your payment transaction and financial information are secure through Pay Pal. The payment information is encrypted via SSL.
*SSL: It is a document that certifies that DPB is who we say we are and it is an important part to establish secure connections. The functionality works as follows: The protocol uses a third party, a Certificate Authority (CA), to identify one end or both ends of the transactions. It allows the server to establish a secure connection with the user's browser, ensuring that all the data (such as credit card info) transferred between server and user is encrypted.
You can confirm that DPB has the SSL when you are on pages that have secure information transfer by the ‘https://' compared to ‘http://'. The pages on DPB secured by SSL are those that gather your information and transaction/payment information are secured via SSL.
Your log in information is maintained on our host's server. They employ security monitoring, virus protection and firewall protection. The servers are maintained in a secured data center.
DPB will never sell, rent or share your personal information, including your email address, with any third parties for marketing purposes without your express permission.
User Agreement
You are our client. You can be assured that you will be treated with professional courtesy and integrity. Your information will be dealt with the highest ethical standards.
DPB does not perform credit checks or make efforts to validate the information you provide through a third party. As the client, you are responsible to provide accurate information with respect to your financial profile.
Dear Piggy Bank is not affiliated with or paid by any financial institution. It does not sell financial products, provide financing, make referrals or receive commissions from financial institutions or organizations that provide financing.
DPB will not begin work on your file until you have made payment in full. Once you have paid, it is understood that you are engaging DPB and are giving DPB your consent to use the information you have submitted to deliver the product/service you have requested. For the fee paid, you will receive the agreed service.
Intellectual Property
The information and content on Dear Piggy Bank is the sole creation of DPB and completely owned by DPB. This includes images and illustrations. Users do not have the right to copy or use any of the content, images or illustrations from the site. They are protected by copyright and ownership laws.
Your Agreement
You hereby agree that you shall not use any information contained in this Site or the links to this Site in any claims, proceedings, suits or actions against DPB. You may not post, publish, reproduce, transmit or otherwise distribute information or material on the Site: (a) constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability; (b) which is protected by copyright, or other intellectual property right or derivative works thereof, without obtaining permission of the copyright holder; (c) otherwise use this Site in a way that is contrary to law or which would adversely impact use of the Site or the Internet by other users.
